The Microsoft Online Services Cambridge team has been working on delivering Software as a Service for 10+ years. A core of the team was acquired in 1998 through the LinkExchange acquisition. The team has helped launch Microsoft bCentral and Office Live. Currently the team works on Microsoft Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS), a set of messaging and collaboration solutions hosted by Microsoft, that consists of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office Live Meeting, and Office Communications Online. These online services are designed to give businesses streamlined communication with high availability, comprehensive security, and simplified IT management.
