Sara knows about the greatest invention in the past six months, but she can't tell you. It's really great, though.
- Can you tell us about your background?
I've been at Microsoft for about fifteen years. I spent almost all of that in Redmond doing a variety of product development jobs and then I moved here to the greater Boston area about three years ago. Took about a two year vacation from the company and rejoined the company about a year ago to lead our efforts here in Cambridge. - What is your favorite feature of the new Cambridge campus?
You know everybody talks about the view and the great space here; my favorite feature is the people. There are so many bright, creative, energetic, enthusiastic, and innovative people that work here. - What is the strangest thing you've eaten?
The strangest thing that I have ever eaten are veal sweetbreads. I did not know that was what I was ordering at a very fancy restaurant in Paris. My French is not that good, in fact it's quite bad, and so I ordered it not know that's what I ordered. When they came I sensed that it was something that I was not too interested in eating, but I was with a bunch of other people and I didn't want to be rude and I ate them anyway. - What's the greatest invention in the last six months?
The greatest invention in the last six months I know about, but I can't tell you, but its really great. - Any unique skills?
My most unique skill is that I knit. I knit a turtle, his name is Sheldon.
